Speaking to Shafaq News on Wednesday, the source said, “a man and his son were killed as their house, which was booby-trapped by Islamic State, exploded in al-Islah al-Zera’i region, in western Mosul.” “The house exploded as the family was checking their house for the first time since end of war against IS in the city,” the source added. 170 dead found in mass grave in Mosul Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi troops ran into a mass grave containing relics of 170 civilian victims, south of Mosul, a security source said on Tuesday. Federal Police troops managed to find on Tuesday a mass grave near al-Bou seif village, located south of Mosul, Col. Anbar Mohamed al-Jabri told Anadolu agency. Joint troops ran into the grave and found relics of 170 civilians who were collectively killed, most probably by Islamic State while being in control on the city.
