35 Taliban die in airstrikes in Kapisa
Kapisa police claim at least 35 Taliban insurgents , including the group's deputy shadow governor, were killed on Friday night in an Afghan Air Force strike. Kapisa police said Ahsanullah, the Taliban’s deputy shadow governor for Kapisa province, was also killed in the airstrike. Abdul Razaq Yaqoubi, Kapisa police chief said the strike took place in Shaloti village of Tagab district when the Taliban fighters had gathered ahead of carrying out an attack on police check posts.
