 1 dies in bombing attack in al-Taji regionBaghdad (IraqiNews.com) Six persons were killed and injured as a bomb went off in north of Baghdad, a security source said on Sunday. “A bomb exploded near stores at al-Hamamiyat village in al-Taji region, leaving one person killed and five others wounded,” the source told Baghdad Today. 3 wounded in helo crash neat Wasit Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Defense Ministry’s War Media Cell has made a correction about the number of victims of the helicopter crash that took place earlier on Sunday. “In accordance with the final report on the helicopter crash, it has been revealed that number of victims was three not seven,” the WMC said in a statement. “An M17 helicopter crashed during training in Wasit,” an earlier statement said, adding that the whole crew was composed of seven military personnel.
