Hariri returns to Lebanon after talks with Egyptian President in Cairo
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Leb’s Saad al-Hariri, who resigned as prime minister on Nov. 4, returned to Beirut on Wednesday for the first time since he resigned from Soddy Arabia...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... Hariri’s sudden resignation thrust Leb to the forefront of regional tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, whose powerful Lebanese ally Hezbollah is part of the government. Hariri was greeted by members of the security forces as he disembarked from a jet at Beirut airport, live footage of his arrival showed. Hariri cited fear of liquidation and meddling by Iran and Hezbollah in the Arab world in his resignation speech. Lebanese President  Michel Aoun...president of Leb, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hizbullah... has refused to accept the resignation until Hariri returns to present it in person. Earlier, Hariri met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi in Cairo, for talks in a brief Cairo stopover before a planned return to Leb, Egypt state media said on Tuesday.
