He faces charges of traveling to conflict areas in Syria to participate in the fighting and joining one of the holy warrior groups there.

The man was also found guilty of financing terrorism. He put the picture of Bin Laden as a profile photo of him on Twitter and stored material backing terrorist organizations on his computer.

He was prevented by the Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh from traveling outside the country for 23 years beginning from the date of his release from prison.
