Roadside bomb explosion leaves six dead in northwest Pakistan
 [PRESSTV] A roadside kaboom has claimed lives of at least six people and injured eight others in an area of the troubled northwestern Pakistain, officials say. Local officials said on Tuesday that the blast took place in Mir Ali town of North Wazoo, the country’s restive northwestern tribal area bordering Afghanistan. The bomb was planted in a parked cycle of violence. "The casualties came from a bomb planted in a cycle of violence parked on a roadside in Khadi market of Mir Ali town," media outlets quoted Kamran Khan Afridi, a senior administration official in the area as saying. "The blast targeted two vehicles passing along the road. Six people who died and eight who were maimed are believed to be the vehicles' passengers," he added Mir Ali town and neighboring Miranshah ... headquarters of al-Qaeda in Pakistain and likely location of Ayman al-Zawahiri. The Haqqani network has established a ministatein centered on the town with courts, tax offices and lots of madrassas... , North Waziristan's capital, have long been home to Talibs operating across the troubled region. In a number of assaults in recent weeks, faceless myrmidons have killed several people in the northwest as well as in southwestern Balochistan  ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... province. Last week, button men wearing burkas killed several people in an attack on an agriculture institute in the northwestern city of Beautiful Downtown Peshawar ...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border.
