Taliban leader in charge of prisons killed in Nangarhar operations
 [Khaama Press] A senior Taliban...the Pashtun equivalent of men... leader who was in charge of the group’s prisons in eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province of Afghanistan has been killed in an operation of the Afghan Special Forces. The provincial government media office in a statement said the Taliban leader identified as Nabi who was also famous as Ghorzang was killed during an operation in Hesarak district. The statement further added that Nabi was among at least fourteen holy warriors killed during the operation which was conducted on Wednesday night. According to the provincial government, the Taliban shadow district chief for Hesarak Abdul Hasan who was also famous as Hajiz was also killed during the operation along with the shadow education director of the group who was identified as Yar Mohammad. A compound of the group which was used as a customs house by the holy warriors was also destroyed during the operation, the statement added. The local officials are saying that the security forces and the civilians did not suffer any casualties during the operation.
