Afghan forces foil deadly blast, US drone strike kill 3 IS militants in Nangarhar
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Afghan cops foiled a deadly kaboom in eastern NangarharThe unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province by discovering and defusing an Improvised Explosive Device planted on a roadside in this province. The provincial government media office in a statement said the turbans had planted an IED on a roadside Dur Baba district which was discovered and seized before the turbans manage to carry out a deadly kaboom. In the meantime, the provincial government said at least three IS turbans were killed in a dronezap in the vicinity of Achin district. The statement by the provincial government further added that the  was carried out in the vicinity of Bandar area of Achin.According to Nangarhar government, some weapons and ammunition belonging to the terror group were also destroyed.
