IED Explosion Kills AMISOM Soldier In Central Somalia
[RADIOSHABELLE] An kaboom in Bulo Burte town in Hiran region has killed at least one soldier serving with African Union...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... Mission to Somalia [AMISOM] on Friday. The blast has resulted from a remotely-controlled landmine planted in the main Airport in the town, according to local residents who spoke to Radio Shabelle. The Improvised Explosive Device [IED] has left 1 Djibouti peacekeeper and two others maimed. No group has yet claimed credit for the bombing targeted the AU forces.
