ISIS captures more ground from Al-Qaeda in northeast Hama

(ISIS) seized more territory from the al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
forces.

According to pro-opposition activists, ISIS managed to capture the town of Huwaysis ibn Hadib after a short battle with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham on Friday.

In addition to capturing Huwaysis ibn Hadib, ISIS now controls the towns of Rasm al-Hamam, al-Wabid al-Qebli, Mwalah Abu Hadib, Abu Ajwa, Anbaz, Mwalih Swarna Abu Haya, Rasm al-Ahmar, Abu Hilal, Abu Hariq, Abu al-Kusor, Ma’asran, al-Athshan, Abyan
...a governorate of Yemen. The region was a base to the Aden-Abyan Islamic Army terrorist group until it dropped the name and joined al-Qaeda. Its capital is Zinjibar. In March 2011, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula declared the governate an Islamic Emirate after seizing control of the region. The New York Times fastidiously reported that those in control, while Islamic hard boyz, are not in fact al-Qaeda, but something else that looks, tastes, smells, and acts the same. Yemeni government forces launched an effort to re-establish control of the region when President-for-Life Saleh was tossed and the carnage continues...
