Israeli forces hunt down murderers of Rabbi Shevach in Jenin
Israeli security forces exchanged fire with Palestinian gunmen in the West Bank city of Jenin Wednesday night, fatally shooting one of the terrorists involved in the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach and capturing other member of the terrorist cell. At least one Palestinian was reportedly killed in the gunfight. An Israeli was hurt as well and required evacuation. The Israeli force was searching for the murderers of Rabbi Raziel Shevach, who was killed in a drive-by terrorist attack on January 9. On Wednesday afternoon, the investigation gained critical new information which led the security forces to block routes and enter Jenin with dozens of vehicles. A Border Police spokesperson stated that several people had been wounded during the operation, as hundreds of Palestinians began to throw stones at the troops and border policemen who restored order.
"The Jenin cell is not the first and will not be the last. The criminal security cooperation will not prevent the resistance from standing up to Trump’s decision and from protecting Jerusalem," a Hamas statement read.
