1 dead in car bomb attack in Wardiya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Five people were killed and wounded on Saturday when a bomb blast hit an area southeast of Baghdad, a security source was quoted saying.

Baghdad Today quoted the source saying that a bomb placed near a fish market in Wardiya, Madaen, exploded, killing one person and wounding four others.

4 wounded in car bomb attack in al-Mahmoudiya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Four civilians were wounded in a bomb blast that took place in south of Baghdad, a security source was quoted saying on Sunday.

“A bomb went off near stores in al-Mahmoudiya region, south of Baghdad,” the source told Baghdad Today website.

“Only four civilians were wounded,” the source said. “Ambulance arrived at the blast spot and transferred the injured to hospital for treatment.”

1 hurt in IED explosion in Hawr Rajab

Baghdad (Iraqinews.com) – One person was injured Sunday in a bomb blast south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, a security source was quoted as saying.

“A roadside bomb exploded at Hawr Rajab village in southern Baghdad,” the source told Alghad Press. “The explosion left one person, who was accidentally passing through the area, injured,” the source added.

Iraqi official wounded in car bomb attack

Baghdad (Iraqinews.com) – A public servant was injured Sunday in a car bomb blast west of Baghdad, a security source was quoted as saying.

“An explosive charge fixed into a car of an employee of the Electricity Ministry went off at al-Ghazaliya neighborhood west of Baghdad,” the source said. “The explosion left the employee injured.”

“The public servant was taken to a nearby hospital suffering from severe injuries,” the source added.
