7 police killed as Taliban storm Helmand checkpoints
[PAJHWOK] Seven coppers were killed and an eighth maimed after Talibs stormed their check posts in the Garamsir district of southern Helmand...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... province, an official said Monday. The security official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the murderous Moslems attacked security check-posts in Chawghakai area late on Sunday night. He said seven coppers were killed and one more was maimed in the overnight assault.
