Key Taliban commander killed in Afghan forces ambush in Faryab
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A key commander of the Taliban...the Pashtun equivalent of men... group was killed in an ambush of the Afghan national defense and security forces in northern Faryab province. The 209th Shaheen Corps said the Taliban Überstürmbannführer identified as Mullah Yar Mohammad was killed along with one of his The Shaheen Corps officials said the ambush againt Mullah Yar Mohammad was laid late on Wednesday in Kusa Qala area of the district. The officials further added that four Taliban snuffies were also critically maimed and two Ak-47 rifles and a cycle of violence belonging to the snuffies were confiscated.
