10 anti-tank rockets recovered from Satchhari forest
[Dhaka Tribune] Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have recovered 10 anti-tank rockets from the forest atSatchhari National Park in Chunarughat upazila, Habiganj.The weapons were unearthed from a bunker in the forest on Friday night, during a drive by the elite force that began in the evening. Briefing the news hounds at around 2pm on Saturday, RAB Director (Media) Mufti Mahmud Khan said it was suspected that a powerful criminal group had stashed the weapons in the bunker for out sabotage operations. Earlier, the elite force recovered a total of 222 pieces of 40m rocket shells, 248 rocket launcher charges and other warheads from the bordering Satchhari forest during a two-day drive in June, 2014.
