Big Snowstorm Battering Britain
[WashingtonPost] The "Beast from the East" continues to pummel Britain with heavy snow and brutal wind chills, prompting the U.K. Met Office, the United Kingdom's national weather service, to issue a red snow warning for the first time since 2013 [I would be more worried about yellow snow but that's just me]. The red warning was in effect on Wednesday for parts of Scotland, including Edinburgh and Glasgow, until 10 a.m. Thursday.
