"Nineveh police, backed by the U.S.-led Coalition forces, in coordination with the Iraqi intelligence, carried out an operation against Islamic State locations," Maj. Gen. Hamed Names al-Jabouri, said in a statement. The operation, according to Jabouri, "resulted in arrested 12 IS holy warriors, detonating six bombs and destroying three tunnels that were used by the members.
