Police investigator gunned down in southern Thailand
[Bangkok Post] A police deputy chief investigator was gunned down while tending to his fighting cocks in Narathiwat province on Wednesday morning. Police called to the scene found Wutthisak Poolsawat lying dead under a tree behind his mother-in-law's house in Sungai Padi. Wutthisak was deputy investigator at the police station in tambon Sakor. He left the police residence compound every morning on his motorcycle and went to Mrs Faheeya’s house, where he raised and trained fighting cocks. On Wednesday morning, he went there as usual. He parked his bike out front and went to the rooster coops behind the house. Three gunmen wearing black clothes had entered the yard through a neighboring garden, shot him and then fled.
