Mutinous Forces Clash With Al-Shabab Militants In Central Somalia
[RADIOSHABELLE] Mutinous forces from HirShabelle state presidential palace have engaged in a heavy shootout with al-Shabaab...  the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...hard boyz in central Somalia on Saturday. The fighting broke out after armed fighters belonging to Al-Shabaab ambushed the regional forces while traveling between Jowhar and Beledweyne towns. The mutinous troops left Jowhar, the current seat of HirShabelle administration early on Saturday morning and were en route to Jalalaqsi district at the time of the attack. A senior HirShabelle state official told Radio Shabelle that the ambush has left several soldiers and hard boyz dead, thought the number of the casualty figures have not been confirmed so far.
