No Tornadoes Have Been Reported in Oklahoma in 2018, Nearing a Record
 [Weather.com] There have been fewer tornadoes than average so far in 2018.In fact, no tornadoes have been reported in Oklahoma so far, which is approaching a record. Fewer tornadoes than average have occurred so far in 2018 and portions of the Plains that would typically expect at least a few tornadoes by now have not seen any of these dangerous storms. In fact, this may lead to a new tornado record for Oklahoma. Through April 18, a preliminary 255 tornadoes have been reported this year.
