Russian jets intensify airstrikes in southern Idlib amid reports of imminent jihadist offensive
[AlMasdar] The Russian Aerospace Forces launched several  s over the southern countryside of Idlib, today, targeting a number of towns controlled by the jihadist rebels.According to a military source in nearby Latakia, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched more than 30 airstrikes over southern Idlib, hitting jihadist targets in the towns of Zakat, al-Sakhar, al-’Arbeen, Kafr Nubl, Habit, and Kafr Sajnah. The targeted areas were primarily gathering points for the jihadist rebels that are reportedly preparing to launch a large-scale offensive against the Syrian government forces in southern Idlib and northern Hama.
