Syrian Army’s on the brink of victory in Hajar Al-Aswad
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army launched a big attack, yesterday, to counter the so-called Islamic State...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... ’s (ISIS) previous offensive that took place earlier that afternoon. Led by their 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division and 105th Brigade of the Elite Republican Guard, the Syrian Army took the battle to the remaining Islamic State Lions of Islam in Hajar al-Aswad, seizing more ground from the terrorist group after hours of fighting. With these latest gains, the Syrian Army has found themselves on the brink of liberating all of Hajar al-Aswad, which was once the largest city in southern Damascus.
