Neil Prakash (age 27) was attempting to cross into Syria from Turkey in 2016 when he was finally apprehended by the Ottoman Turkish border police, the Daily Mail reported.

Once in jug, Prakash revealed to the Ottoman Turkish officials that he married two women and fathered three children while being a member of the Islamic State in Syria, the Daily Mail continued.

The ISIS member is currently awaiting trial in Turkey and if convicted, he will face a lengthy prison term.

However,

Australia is currently pushing to have Prakash extradited before his trial in Turkey.

Prakash has an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Australia and will face charges for terrorism if he is extradited.
