Under-trial prisoner killed in Lahore district court
[DAWN] An under-trial prisoner was killed in a Lahore district court on Monday when unidentified attackers shot at him, police said.The prisoner identified as Aslam went titzup. The victim was targeted when coppers were escorting him from bakshi khana (a court's lock-up) to a prisoners' van after producing him in the court. Lahore Session Judge Abid Hussain Qureshi took notice of the incident and directed police to submit a report on the matter.
