Head of Saudi entertainment authority relieved of position
 [ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A royal order issued on Monday relieved Ahmed bin Aqeel al-Khatib from his position as the head of the Saudi General Authority for Entertainment.Khatib was appointed the head of the authority in 2016 and was in charge of various entertainment events in Saudi Arabia. The authority carried out 2,200 entertainment activities in 2017, and is aiming to organize 50,000 in 2018. Saudi Arabia will invest $64 billion in the entertainment sector in the next 10 years.
