Senior Turkish-backed militia commander assassinated in Syria’s Afrin
[ALMASDARNEWS] A group of Kurdish fighters in Afrin ambushed a rebel commander fighting for the Ottoman Turkish-backed military campaign in northern Syria.

Muhammad Ali, aka Abu Dujana, was killed when YPG fighters shot up his vehicle somewhere on the road linking Midan Akbos and Qara Baba towns in Rajo district of Afrin region.

The assailants filmed the slain commander before seizing his weapons and eventually retreating from the area.

This took place on July 22 under the wider Operation Olive Wrath aiming at liquidating senior FSA commanders .

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
has backed FSA-linked groups taking over Afrin region on March 2018 after ousting YPG fighters.

Ever since, the Kurdish hard boyz have taken refuge in the nearby mountains, taking advantage of the myriad caves and tunnels to carry out hit-and-run attacks against rival rebel groups.
