Jihadist rebels launch another attack on Hmeymim Airbase
[ALMASDARNEWS] The jihadist rebels have launched another attack on the Russian military’s Hmeymim Airbase in western Syria, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported tonight.According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, an armed drone approached Hmeymim Airbase this evening before it was shot down by the air defense forces at this military installation in the southwestern countryside of the Latakia Governorate. A source from the Syrian Arab Army the armed drones took off from the Jisr al-Shughour District of the Idlib Governorate; this region is primarily controlled by jihadist rebels. This latest attack by the jihadist rebels comes just 24 hours after they attempted to bomb the Hmeymim Airbase at night.
