Iraq prepares for suing U.S.-led Coalition for crimes against civilians during IS war

Speaking to Russia Today TV channel, the sources said one of the NGOs has been working on documenting all the violations made the international coalition as well as the U.S. jets in Iraq during the war against Islamic State ahead of submitting them to the coming Iraqi government as well as international institutions to sue the coalition.
Iraqi political parties that oppose the U.S. policies in Iraq are urging members of the coming parliament to pressure the government to work in accordance with what the groups will come up with, the sources added.
Last week, officials from the coalition said at least 1094 non-combatants were killed in Iraq and Syria during operations since 2014.
