Pashtun leaders pay high price as voters demand change
[ARABNEWS] Pakistain’s election has stunned heavyweight Pashtun religious and nationalist leaders who were "wiped out" at the polls as voters rejected political dynasties in favor of change.The poll results surprised many at home and abroad with the defeat of veteran Pashtun leaders such as Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam ...Assembly of Islamic Clergy, or JUI, is a Pak Deobandi (Hanafi) political party.
