1 killed, 8 injured in bomb explosion in southern Thailand
One man was killed and eight others were injured Friday when a bomb exploded in a town in Thailand's southern Narathiwat Province, police said. The bomb exploded in front of a Siam Commercial Bank automated teller machine near a market in the town of Sungai Kolok, the police said. The bomb was in a motorcycle parked in front of the bank and apparently triggered by mobile phone. Police said those who were injured are residents of the town.
