Two communist rebels killed in Agusan encounter
 [PhilStar] Two New People’s Army militants were killed in a clash with Philippine troopers in Agusan del Sur last Sunday. The slain guerillas were identified as Juan Precioso, alias Max; and Dondon Montilla, alias Amag, of the NPA’s North Central Mindanao Regional Command. Reports said the clash happened in Barangay Oro, Esperanza.In Ifugao, 20 communist rebels surrendered to the 54th Infantry Battalion in Asipulo town over the weekend.
