Jordan Graduates Police Cadets
Jordan has completed the training of an expanded batch of Iraqi police cadets. The Iraqi Police Service graduated 1,423 officers from the basic police training course at the Jordan International Police Training Center in Amman on Dec. 16. Officials said the graduation marked the completion of an eight-week training course for one of the largest batches of inexperienced recruits. Officers with prior experience attended a three-week "transition integration program" course of instruction. All graduates were ordered to deploy immediately for duty at stations throughout Iraq. The Iraqi police processes cadets for training both in Iraq and Jordan. Basic training includes the fundamentals of policing skills and techniques as well as law enforcement principles in a free society.
I hope the Jordanians gave them the special course on how to use a tire iron...
