Sinai Tribes Union posts video online of 'repentant' former terrorist leader confessing
[AlAhram] The Facebook page of the Sinai Tribes Union has released a video containing the detailed confessions of what it described as a prominent "repentant" takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who most be killed...leader, who is shown discussing terrorist plans aiming to disrupt the Egyptian economy by assaulting factories, workers and other vital state institutions. The video revealed that the former takfiri leader, Belal El-Brahma, also known as "El-Din", and his family are now secured and have been given a financial reward of EGP 2 million. In the video, he confesses that his full name is Belal Hemdan El-Brahma, he was born in 1979 in Khan Younis in Paleostine, and he currently lives in Rafah city in North Sinai. The tribal union reaffirmed its offer of financial rewards to any Sinai residents who inform on "takfiri elements", pledging to provide a save haven for them and their families.
