Audience Laughs at Lanny Davis When He Asks Them to Donate to Michael Cohen Fund
[Townhall] Michael Cohen's lawyer Lanny Davis did not get much love on Megyn Kelly's TODAY show during his appearance on Wednesday. Kelly asked him to confirm whether or not President Trump knew about the payments Cohen, Trump's lawyer at the time, made to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal ahead of the 2016 election. Cohen said Trump not only knew about it, but coordinated the payments.Cohen, Davis said, is a changed man. "He’s gone through a transformation," Davis said. "He did a lot of things to defend Donald Trump that he now regrets. He’s a new person when he first called me he told me that he was changing his life and now telling the truth about Donald Trump and that’s why he wanted me to help him." At one point, Davis pleaded with the audience to donate to Cohen's online fund, michaelcohentruth.com. Judging by their reaction, they were not interested.
