Yemen peace talks: Houthis setting conditions on a plane staircase
 [ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] In August, United Nations...a formerly good idea gone bad... envoy to Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... Martin Griffiths announced to the world and the Security Council that consultations between the legitimate Yemeni government and the putschists would be held in the first week of September in Geneva to pave the way for a political solution and end the armed conflict that has been ongoing since 2014.
