chaired the meeting of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on Friday morning and reviewed the security situation of a number of provinces.
The security situation of Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Balkh, Farah, and Jawzjan provinces were reviewed. | The Office of the President, ARG Palace in a statement said the meeting was organized in Gul Khana Palace where the security situation of Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Balkh, Farah, and Jawzjan provinces were reviewed.
The statement further added that the civilian and military officials of the named provinces were instructed to take necessary measures to thwart the conspiracies of the enemies.
No further details have been given in this regard but the Office of the President added that the meeting also hailed the security forces for ensuring the security during the Day of Ashura and thanked the local residents for their cooperation.
President Ghani also spoke with the military and civilian officials of 33 provinces and reviewed their issues and recommendations, ARG Palace said.
The statement by ARG Palace also added that the military and civilian officials were instructed to take necessary measures to resolve the issues and to respond to the recommendations of the provincial officials.
