Deir Ezzor: Map Update: US-backed forces advance against ISIS in eastern Syria
[AlMasdar] A US-backed Syrian rebel group continues to grab more territories from the Islamic State...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) in eastern Syria amid fierce resistance from the jihadi Death Eaters. The Syrian Democratic Forces managed today to capture Shajilah town located north of Baghuz Foukani own, which had been secured last week. The recent advance ‐ heavily backed by US coalition  s ‐ was achieved following fierce battles which lasted 3 days, according to SDF sources.The same sources added that dozens of ISIS gunnies were killed in the process, as well as large quantities of weapons and ammunition seized.
