 (FSA) and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reportedly clashed outside the town of Manbij this morning after a relatively quiet few months.

According to local activists, the FSA and SDF clashed inside a town located north Manbij, as both forces exchanged gunfire and artillery shells.

No ground has been gained by either side, despite the intense exchange.

Currently, the U.S. Coalition and Ottoman Turkish military patrol the Manbij area as part of a deal that was established between Washington and Ankara earlier this year.
