Bomb blast leaves two people wounded in Iraq’s Kirkuk
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) – Two people were wounded Wednesday in a bomb blast in the oil-rich province of Kirkuk, a security source was quoted as saying.
“A bomb placed on the side of a road went off in al-Tayaran square in central Kirkuk, leaving two people injured,” privately-owned daily newspaper Al Arab Al Yawm quoted the source as saying.
“Security forces rushed to the blast site and carried the wounded into a nearby hospital for treatment,” added the source.
Two bomb blasts rock Kirkuk, leaving four people wounded
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) – Four people were wounded Wednesday as two bomb blasts rocked different sites in Kirkuk province, a security source was quoted as saying.
“An explosive charge fixed into a car went off in a district in central Kirkuk,” the source told Iraqi website Baghdad Today. “The explosion left three people injured,” added the source.
“Another booby-trapped vehicle went off near a power plant in Domeez area, in southern Kirkuk, leaving a person dead,” the source pointed out.
According to the source, “the wounded were moved to a nearby hospital for treatment.”
