province Manan Lewanay has died of critical wounds he sustained during the operations of the Afghan police forces.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Lewanay died of his wounds earlier today, days after he was critically maimed during operations of the police forces.

The statement further added that Lewanay was maimed in Rezak area of Obe district during the operations few days earlier.
