Taliban’s deputy shadow governor dies of critical wounds in Herat
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The deputy shadow governor of the Taliban...the Pashtun equivalent of men... group for western Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province Manan Lewanay has died of critical wounds he sustained during the operations of the Afghan police forces. The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Lewanay died of his wounds earlier today, days after he was critically maimed during operations of the police forces.
