Turkey vows to launch military operation in Manbij if US does not remove YPG from city

While Turkey has not increased their military presence in Manbij, this could ultimately change if the U.S. fails to remove the remaining YPG fighters from the city. Currently, the YPG has a large presence inside and outside of Manbij; they also maintain close ties with the Manbij Military Council, who they fought next to during their fight against the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference.
