Captured Zarqawi aide was facilitating al-Qaeda communications
 U.S.-led forces in Baghdad have captured a man they describe as a senior member of the militant network led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Fadil Hussain Ahmed al-Kurdi, 26, is said to be responsible for facilitating communications between Zarqawi and al-Qaeda, as well as co-ordinating the movement of insurgents in and out of Iraq.
