Florida airbase damage deals a costly blow to the F-22
[AsiaTimes] About 20 of the highly expensive Raptor jets may have been damaged at Tyndall Air Base when Hurricane Michael swept through, which could cost the US Air Force (and American taxpayers) billions.
I want to know why a base that was supposed to be able to fight WW-III couldn't take a hurricane.

The briefing by the Air Force leadership team following the hurricane can be seen here. It sounds like they got everyone out but key personnel left on guard, and also all the airplanes capable of flying.
