Syrian Army snipers wreak havoc on Turkish-backed rebels in northwest Hama
[AlMasdar] Opposition activists reported on Wednesday morning that two of their fighters were killed by Syrian Arab Army snipers last night.

On Tuesday night, the Syrian Arab Army snipers in western Hama killed two fighters from the Ottoman Turkish-backed National Liberation Front near the Beit Ras Bridge.

The Syrian Army soldiers used thermal sniper rifles near the bridge, indicating that they had received new weapons.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has received new sniper rifles from the Russian Federation that have now been put to use near the Idlib buffer zone.

Since the jihadist rebels have refused to leave the designated buffer zone in the Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, and Latakia provinces, the Syrian Arab Army has moved more troops towards the front-lines in anticipation of a potential battle with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
and the NLF.

While the Russian and Ottoman Turkish forces work to force out the jihadist rebels from this buffer zone, the Syrian Arab Army will mobilize more troops to this front in case the opposition fighters don’t leave.
