Policeman martyred in 'targeted' gun attack in Quetta
[DAWN] A policeman was rubbed out by unidentified button men in Quetta's Nawan Killi area on Thursday morning, police said.

Head Constable Muhammad Musa, posted at Barori cop shoppe, was going to work on his cycle of violence and when armed attackers opened fire on him and escaped unhurt from the site of the attack, police said.

The police officer went titzup. His body was shifted to Quetta's Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police and other law enforcement personnel reached the site of the attack and launched an investigation into the incident, which police said appeared to be a assassination.

Police officers are said to be high-risk targets in Balochistan...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
