US military ‘concerned’ Israeli strikes in Syria could cause backlash against American troops
[IsraelTimes] Despite support from the White House, Israel’s ongoing military operations in Syria is increasingly worrying US military officials, the Wall Street Journal reports.A senior military official tells the paper the Israeli  s targeting Iran-backed groups in Syria could backfire against the US if Tehran believes Washington is behind the bombing raids.He says there is a "growing concern" the Israeli campaign could prompt Iran-linked groups to target US troops in Iraq or Syria.
