NDS Special Forces storm a key hideout of the Taliban in Nangarhar province

(NDS), have stormed a key hideout of the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... group in eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province of Afghanistan. The provincial government media office in a statement said at least four Talibs were killed in the raid and depot containing weapons and explosives was destroyed. The statement further added that the operation was conducted at 12am local time on Friday in Khalaqdad area of Khogyani district which continued until 3am in the morning, leaving four forces of Evil dead. Another Taliban Hamidullah who was expert in producing improvised bombs was tossed in the calaboose Please don't kill me! along with seven others during the same operation, the statement said. The Afghan forces also confiscated some suicide kaboom vests, weapons, munitions, mines, and other explosives during the operation which were later destroyed, the provincial government said, adding that the NDS forces and local residents did not suffer casualties during the operation.
