NSA recruits High School Students... Mature enough?

It looks like a typical work-study program for local students, where the kids take their regular classes in the morning and work at the NSA in various capacities in the afternoon during their senior year, then work full time during the summer. According to the web page, the program is over three decades old, suggesting that the selected participants are indeed mature enough. Mr. Wife did something similar in medical research when he was in high school and college, though he started in the summer before his junior year... and did not need a security clearance.
