Ocasio-Cortez has no money for D.C. apt, blames 'class barrier'
 [Wash Times] Newly elected congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ said her struggle with moving to Washington D.C. is indicative of a class barrier to political offices."There are many little ways in which our electoral system isn’t even designed (nor prepared) for working-class people to lead," she tweeted with a screenshot of a recent interview. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez told The New York Times on Wednesday that going until January without a paycheck will make it hard to find an apartment in Washington, D.C. "We’re kind of just dealing with the logistics of it day by day, but I’ve been just kind of squirreling away and then hoping that gets me to January," she told The Times. In her tweet, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez said she’s, "working it out." The Democratic darling, a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, rode a wave of progressive enthusiasm that upset longtime New York Rep.
