Democrat Stacey Abrams ends bid to be Georgia governor

- She said her announcement was not a concession because that would acknowledge 'an action as right' and called election 'appalling'
- Abrams said she would pursue issue in federal court but Kemp issued statement saying Georgia needed to move on
- Trump congratulated Kemp, but said Abrams has a bright political future
- Bitter race has been hit by allegations of racial suppression of voters with Kemp now facing start of his term tied up in federal litigation
- His final margin of victory is expected to be 50.2 per cent, just fractionally above the 50 per cent margin needed to win
